We can feel like a geode when we've suffered from mental health struggles. Our outside and what we present to the world may look rough, hard, and dull. This outer shell has an extremely useful purpose: protecting the beauty that's inside. When we feel safe, calm, confident, and cared for, we can show our amazing complexities to the world.
